HOW TO USE HARDWAX

INSTRUCTIONS:

Thank you for purchasing Yeni's very own blend of waxes! Here are some steps on how to use it:

  1. Pour WAXBaYYENI beads in a wax heater.
  2. Preheat the wax to 104°F - 115°F until it reaches the consistency of stiff honey or batter
  3. Treat the depilation area with PIEL PURA to degrease  the skin and remove any traces of dirt and bacteria.
  4. Apply a small amount of talc free powder.
  5. With a stick, apply a uniform layer of wax, apply in the direction of hair growth, leaving a small "petal" which will be used as a grip later on. Press the spatula firmly, putting the necessary pressure on it.
  6. The wax will harden in 4-10 seconds. During this period it will stick to all the hairs. Ready to be removed waxbyyeni should not stick to the hand when touched.
  7. Holding the skin taut in the direction opposite to the tear-off, remove the wax with a fast movement, parallel to the skin.
  8. Repeat same actions in the next area.
  9. When the procedure is over, treat the skin with a soothing, cooling, oil-free product and antiseptic spray
  • Wax stretches like caramel and is difficult to remove.

    Reason

Not enough time passed for the wax to harden
    What to do:

Put some wax dusting powder onto the wax, wait 2-3 seconds and remove.

  • There are some hairs left over.

    Reason

The wax was applied superficially, without pressing the spatula to the skin, so the hair didn’t get into the wax layer.

    What to do:

Apply the wax onto the skin with the remaining hair, fix the hair in the wax more thoroughly, pressing the stick firmly to the area of hair removal.

  • The wax doesn't harden.

    Reason:

The layer of the wax applied is too thick (as in the classic hot wax depilation).

    What to do:

Carefully spread the application to a larger surface. Next time apply a thinner layer of wax.

  • The edges of the wax application remain on the skin after removal.

    Reason

    Uneven application of wax.

    What to do:

Create an application of the same thickness in the middle and on the edges.

Types of waxes

There's creamy waxes, gel, or demi- in between waxes. Hypoallergenic and natural waxes. Here is a rundown of what we carry to make your shopping experience easier.Generally, Gel hard wax is versatile, you can create small thick strips or spread them in large thin strips making it economical.creamy hard wax is specially formulated for sensitive skin. It is recommended for bikini, face, and full body services. Creamy hard wax is typically made of resin with Titanium Dioxide added in the formula which is what also contributes to the creaminess. Creamy wax is less sticky to the skin which is good for sensitive areas. Because it is creamy the strips tend to be thicker, is not as economical as the gel wax but it is ideal to be used for bikini and small areas where the strips are cushioned. Creamy wax is also an advantage for the speed waxers, as it is denser it dries faster than most gel waxes. There's also Demi blends which is a mix of the gel and creamier base waxes.
